About Tony's Music
As a long time amateur musician I love playing in all kinds of ensembles, performing on bassoon, clarinet, flute, saxophone and recently cornet. To help enable these groups and provide more playing opportunities I have been working to develop some skills in transposing, arranging and ocassionally writing music for various groups.
This web site allows me to share what I have created so that others may benefit
and hopefully find some pleasure from my efforts.
Most of my arrangements are based on other arrangements that I have found on the network and on MuseScore.com. My work has involved some combintation of changing instrumentation, transposing, adding or eliminating instrument lines, writing or changing introductions, merging parts of different arrangements, writing bridges, writing or changing endings, adding and modifying harmonies. When known I have credited the arrangers of the starting pieces in the sheet music.
I am a fan of MuseScore, the free music editing software, and have been using it for a number of years.
All the MP3 recordings on this site are generated by MuseScore from my arrangements.
